I'm Martin Eggiman

I have worked as a Creative Director and Graphic Designer for small to medium size companies. In 2008, I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in graphic design from the Art Institute of Portland. At the time, I was not sure what to do with my degree and the US was dealing with the economic recession. Competition in my hometown was fierce so I applied for anything and everything design-related to build up my portfolio and get experience. For six years I worked as a freelance designer looking for interesting and creative projects, some of which included creating magazine layouts for real estate advertising, designing logos and branding for small companies, product photography and photo editing, creating catalog designs, and many other projects to enhance my skills adding new ones along the way.

In 2013, I relocated to Long Beach, California and worked as an in-house graphic designer managing direct mail promotions and product uploads to several eCommerce sites for a local wheel and tire company. In early 2015, I joined a startup company to manage their marketing department and eventually moving into the role as the Creative Director for the whole organization. The content I produce includes branding, sales and investor presentations, UI/UX and mockups for clients. I also manage the video production team where I review scripts and sketch storyboards for our outside animators.
